It began when I discovered my own family—like so many others—struggled with navigating the complexities of finances and online safety. My parents were being charged for unnecessary accounts, and they didn’t know how to handle suspicious texts or emails. I was able to step in and protect them, and it made me realize that others could benefit from the same support and education.
This desire to help extended to my spouse and children, who also weren’t fully aware of the dangers of the digital world. That’s when I knew I wanted to share my knowledge and empower people to protect themselves. From the start, I’ve embraced my role as a "good hacker," working to keep individuals and businesses safe online.
When it came to financial services, my journey took an unexpected turn. I never considered myself a “numbers person” until Covid forced the world to slow down and gave me the opportunity to pursue online education. That decision unlocked a passion for bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation—skills I now use to help small businesses.

But at the heart of it all, I’m someone passionate about making life easier for others—whether it’s through education, personalized business support, or just lending a hand when it’s needed most.
The idea for Techquila was born out of love and necessity. My journey started with a simple realization: my own family didn’t know how to navigate the complexities of modern finances or technology. From catching double charges in my dad’s accounts to protecting my loved ones from online scams, I saw how my skills could make a difference. And it didn’t stop there—I wanted to help others feel confident and secure in their daily lives, too.
