Limited Liability Policy

1. General Statement
Techquila Freelancing Inc. strives to provide professional and reliable support services to its clients. However, by engaging our services, the client agrees to the terms outlined in this Limited Liability Policy. This policy is designed to clarify responsibilities and limit liability for damages or losses that may arise during or after the provision of services.
2. Scope of Liability
The client acknowledges and agrees that Techquila Freelancing Inc. shall not be held liable for any of the following:
- Pre-existing Issues:
Damages, malfunctions, or data loss resulting from pre-existing issues or defects with the client’s devices, networks, or software prior to service. - Third-party Services/Product Failures:
Issues caused by third-party products, services, or software, including but not limited to hardware failures, software bugs, or updates. - Unforeseen Consequences:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as loss of business, revenue, data, or productivity, even if Techquila Freelancing Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. - Unauthorized Modifications:
Damage caused by the client or third parties after the service has been completed, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized modifications, or improper use of the equipment or software. - Force Majeure Events:
Losses or damages resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or cyberattacks.
3. Data Responsibility
While Techquila Freelancing Inc. takes reasonable precautions to protect client data during service:
- The client is solely responsible for creating and maintaining backups of all important data before services are rendered.
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not liable for any data loss or corruption during or after services.
4. Warranty Disclaimer
Techquila Freelancing Inc. does not provide any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, for the services rendered or the equipment/software involved.
5. Maximum Liability
In no event shall Techquila Freelancing Inc.’s total liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
6. Service-Specific Additions1. IT Support Services (Residential and Commercial)
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not responsible for hardware or software failures that occur after service, especially if caused by improper handling, updates, or tampering by the client.
- For network setups, performance may depend on external factors (e.g., ISP reliability), which are outside Techquila Freelancing Inc.’s control.
2. Financial Management Services
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not liable for errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
- Tax preparation services are based on the data provided by the client. Any penalties or interest due to omissions or errors in the client's provided data are not the responsibility of Techquila Freelancing Inc.
- Administrative and Executive Services
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by the client’s failure to provide timely information or approvals.
- Accuracy of documents or communications prepared on behalf of the client depends on the completeness of the information provided.
- Operations Support Services
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not liable for disputes arising from employee relations unless caused by errors directly related to our services (e.g., incorrect documentation).
- Compliance with employment laws and regulations is based on the jurisdiction and the accuracy of the data shared by the client.
- Personal Assistance Services
- Techquila Freelancing Inc. is not responsible for issues arising from third-party interactions, such as vendors or suppliers engaged on the client’s behalf.
7. Client Acknowledgment
By engaging the services of Techquila Freelancing Inc., the client acknowledges and agrees to this Limited Liability Policy. It is the client’s responsibility to read and understand this policy before services are rendered.
